Privacy Policy

The short version

We are a landscaping company, not a data company. We collect what we need to give you an estimate and do the work, we do not sell it to anybody, and we do not run advertising trackers on this website.

What we collect

When you fill in the estimate form, we collect the name, phone number, email address, property address or area, service you selected, and project details you type in. All of it is information you choose to give us.

Automatically, our hosting provider records standard web server information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited. This is ordinary server logging, used to keep the site running and secure.

We do not collect payment card details on this website, we do not ask you to create an account, and we do not request date of birth, social security number, or any other sensitive personal information.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics trackers. There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no retargeting and no session recording. That is why you are not being asked to accept a cookie banner.

The one third party your browser contacts is Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces the site is set in. Google receives your IP address in order to send the font files. It does not set a cookie.

Why we use it

• To reply to your estimate request and arrange a walk-through
• To quote, schedule and carry out work on your property
• To keep records of work we have done for you
• To keep the website running and secure

We will not add you to a marketing list because you asked for an estimate. If we ever start a mailing list, we will ask you first.

Who else sees it

We keep this short deliberately, because the list is short.

• Netlify hosts this website and processes estimate form submissions on our behalf.
• Google receives your IP address when your browser loads the fonts, and Gmail carries the estimate requests sent to us.
• Microsoft 365 carries email sent to our company domain.
• A subcontractor, only where one is needed for part of your job, and only the details needed to do that work.
• Law enforcement or a court, if we are legally required to.

We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Estimate requests are kept for up to two years, so we can find your history if you come back to us. Records for work we actually carried out are kept for up to seven years for tax and insurance purposes. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host and then discarded.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete it, unless we are required to keep it for tax or insurance reasons
• Send you a copy of it

Email moreno.landscape@gmail.com or call (770) 863-9205 and say what you want done. We will respond within 45 days, and there is no charge. We will not treat you differently for asking.

If you are in California, this covers your rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct and opt out of sale. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. If you are in the EU or UK, this covers your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability under the GDPR, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Keeping it safe

This website is served over an encrypted connection. Form submissions travel encrypted and are stored by our host behind account credentials. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise, but we do not hold the kind of data that makes a business a target.

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
